The property is located on the beautiful 73 mål, with a view over the water in the South, Øyangen Lauvåsen in the East, and the start of Jotunheimen in the West.

The Peer Gynt skiing track crosses the property, and ensures that you have access to 650 km of ski tracks all winter from November to May (includes areas Skei and Kvitfjell). Peer Gynt Alpine Centre at Gålå is a 10-minute drive from Bjorkaasen. The area is a paradise for fishing and hunting. Fishing in the fresh water lakes is an experience we really recommend. We have our own rowing boat for use by guests at the hunting lodge.

On the property we have all possibilities for games, fun and games for all ages. Table tennis in the barn can be played both in summer and winter, own Boule/Petanque Court (similar to boccia) with international goals, volleyball, as well as all possible board games etc indoors.
Countless, well-marked trails, provides wonderful opportunities for it at any time using the “acts of the horses,” and do you enjoy picking berries, Blueberry, lingonberry and cloudberry, so do you have any opportunities to get filled the freezer.

To ride a bike in this part of Norway is absolutely amazing. Fresh air, good exercise or hard exercise, combined with climbing a peak in the vicinity? Or what about a walking tour in Jotunheimen, the highest mountains in Norway, including, Rondane, Glittertind and Galdhøpiggen, and you’ve probably heard about the Besseggen? These challenges and experience can all be done in a day, starting at Bjørkåsen!
